your super quick guide to quantum physics + visualization manifestation

The more we recall or replay things that aren’t within our highest vibration, the more we exist in a lower vibration. Very seldom are we aware of when our thoughts are vibrating below their highest potential. Most of us truly do not grasp just how powerful our thoughts are. Have you ever randomly thought of or had a dream about your ex-boyfriend only for him to hit you up with the good ole Hey Stranger text in your DMs? Our thoughts create our reality. But before I dive into Thought Rehearsal, there is one concept that I will do my best to help you to understand. Quantum Physics.

If I knew that I would be fascinated by all of this in my thirties, I would have cared more about math in my teens! But nevertheless, here we are! Studying and researching things like Quantum Physics. Well, what is quantum physics? First and foremost, it is the study of the building blocks of the universe. When you think of your body do you ask yourself what it is made of? Most reply skin, bones, hair, etc. Basically, tissues and organs. What are those tissues and organs made up of? Cells. Now ask yourself, what are cells made of? Molecules; and molecules are made up of tiny little atoms, subatomic particles, otherwise known as… ENERGY! We are all big walking talking chunks of energy and so is everything around us - that bed you’re laying in, the phone you’re holding, the cash you’re counting.

What I found crazy, as I dove into quantum physics more and more during quarantine, was that scientists have concluded that no solid object is truly solid. Solids are made up of rapidly flashing bouts of energy.

⚠️ Alert!! Matrix Nerd Moment ahead!! ⚠️

Let’s say we’re watching the Matrix and we’re finally at the part when Neo takes the pill, he’s reborn and is getting all his downloads. BOOM! He’s a Kung Fu Master. It’s time to kick Morpheus’ ass in their epic Kung Fu battle. While they’re fighting, the rest of the crew sits in front of a computer and watches code fly past them on the screen. They’re trained to see past the code, put the pieces together and formulate a picture. In our reality, that code would be waves and frequencies. Our world is filled with rapid flashes of waves and frequencies that create a picture (or illusion) of something being a solid. Rapid moving computer code = subatomic particles = the world that we see! Does that make sense? I hope so!

In the realm of quantum physics, observing something actually influences the physical processes taking place. Lets fly back to a time before humans started making “discoveries”. One might look at what we know to be a tree, for example, and see something completely different than their counterpart would. The moment a stamp is put on it, the moment someone creates an identity for something and puts a name to it, claims are made of this to be truth and we all get in formation and start to physically see through that same lens and start calling that thing…. a tree. That is why we find so much beauty in watching children grow. We recognize the sense of wonder they have. The piece of us that is missing. Our inner child so-to-speak. We suddenly bare witness to children in complete discovery mode, learning, seeing and experiencing the world around them for all the beauty and wonder that it is before we toss all those identities at them. “Can you say treeeee?”

So as a spiritualist, I’ve asked myself: what is powering all those subatomic particles? The short and sweet answer - God, Source, the Universe, the Highest Power, the Almighty. Understand this: while God uses women as a vessel and first country for it’s creation, God is the one orchestrating the symphony within the womb. All those tissues and organs forming. Those subatomic particles. That your little human developing inside the womb. That is energy. A ball of energy within the womb that takes 9 months to come to full gestation. It’s a beautiful thing when you can fully understand the concept.

What do you find yourself thinking about often? When you’re daydreaming and catch yourself, what was that thought? Being mindful and practicing thought rehearsal is an absolute game changer. You have the ability to move your attention at will from something unhealthy, like negative self talk, to something helpful, like positive reinforcement. Instead of practicing bad habits, put your mind and attention to things that will help you build the foundations of well-being, happiness and creative thought.

Ever since I was a little girl, I would dance my ass off. I’m talking recitals, musicals, showcases. I even did cheerleading and dance team. I was fully in it. Back then I would sit in my room with my eyes closed, dance routine music bumping from my little baby boombox from 2000, and would rehearse my routine in my head, over and over again. Not even realizing that I was practicing thought rehearsal. I attribute this to why I’m such a dope dancer tbh. Just saying. When you meditate, you slow down the brain waves and begin tapping into your very own computer system.

In an article called Mysteries of the Mind, published in the US News and World Report, Marianne Szegedy-Maszak states that,

“according to cognitive neuroscientists, we are conscious of only about 5 percent of our cognitive activity, so most of our decisions, actions, emotions, and behavior depends on the 95 percent of brain activity that goes beyond our conscious awareness. From the beating of our hearts to pushing the grocery cart and not smashing into the kitty litter, we rely on something that is called the adaptive unconscious, which is all the ways that our brains understand the world that the mind and the body must negotiate. The adaptive unconscious makes it possible for us to, say, turn a corner in our car without having to go through elaborate calculations to determine the precise angle of the turn, the velocity of the automobile, the steering radius of the car. It is what can make us understand the correct meaning of statements like "prostitutes appeal to pope" or "children make nourishing snacks" without believing that they mean that the pope has an illicit life and cannibals are munching on children.”

5% of your mind whats to breakthrough and elevate you. To see beyond your programming. Our memories are created from emotional experiences. The more emotional the experience, the more likely it is to be ingrained in your memory. Your wedding day. Your daughter's birth. The first day of school. Being bullied or depressed. Being cheated on and having your heart broken. Our bodies don’t know the difference between an experience creating emotion and an emotion coming from a past experience. Engaging in thought rehearsal helps to instill new neurological hardware and programming. Helps you to be more energetically prepared to handle experiences that might cause emotional triggers. Once your body gets familiar with its new hardware, you can open yourself up vibrationally for the universe to bring your blessings closer to you!

a visualization practice

Find a time and place where you won't be interrupted.

  1. Recline or lie down, and close your eyes.

  2. Relax, concentrate, and focus. Take deep breaths and exhale slowly. As you exhale, imagine that stress is leaving your body. Start at your feet and feel all the stress leave your feet. Then your legs. Then your chest. All the way to the top of your head. Feel all the stress leave your body. Free your mind of distractions and allow your mind to focus on the relaxation process.

  3. Once relaxed, focus on the specific challenging task.

  4. Mentally tell yourself that you are confident and that you have the ability to perform this task successfully. Repeatedly tell yourself, with confidence, that you will be successful.

  5. Imagine what you will see just before you begin the task. Visualize yourself as an active participant, not as a passive observer. For example, to mentally rehearse putting a golf ball, imagine that you are standing on the green rather than watching yourself from the gallery.

  6. Remaining relaxed and focused, mentally rehearse successful performance of this task. Imagine going through the process and seeing successful results.

  7. Repeat step 7 several times.

  8. Finally, open your eyes and smile. You have successfully performed in your mind, which is great preparation for actual performance. You should now be confident that you will perform successfully in the real situation. Remember to praise yourself for being successful. Self-reinforcement is another a key to self-motivation.
